The Abisrrors come from the south-east of Peru. That
part of Peru is all covered with vegetation since it's the amazon part.
Peru is perfectly divided in three natural regions: the coast -where Lima
is-, the Andes and the jungle. The last is the place where Moises Abisrror
and his brother Abraham, for some reason, were taken bye their father to
live and start the Abisrror dynasty. Since there were -seemingly- no other
Abisrrors before them, they had the order to make as many Abisrrors as possible.
They did so and here we are! Unique and great people! Ok, ok, we have the
same opinion of our friends too. But singular we are. The surname Abisrror
exists only in our family. Even though our family is so huge that I still
meet people who happen to be Abisrror as well and I did not know them before,
the name is rare for everybody. Even in Pucallpa, where my family comes
from.
However, if you happen to find some Abisrror in some distant place, make
sure he knows about this site and tell him to contact us. There is a price
for those who find more than one Abisrror outside Peru in 5 years! So, hurry
up and go find them! -Just fooling around!- . But, yes, it would be great
to meet new Abisrrors from which we had no idea.
The story begins with Moises and Abraham Abisrror.
They were taken by their father to Peru. Nobody -that I know- knows exactly
where they came from or why they came to Peru at all. There are some who
say that they came from Europe -somewhere in France or near it-, others
say that They came from some place in the middle east. There are also rumors
that they might have come to the peruvian jungle to free the indians of
their oppression since there was this old indian prophecy about two brothers
coming from somewhere in somewhere -just kidding!- . Well, as they came
to Peru, before the last century, they -seemingly- did not want to go back
to where they came from and changed the name from "?" to Abisrror. That
could be the reason why we are the only Abisrrors in this world -so far
I know- .
der Name Abisror (mit einem "r" vor dem "o")
The Abisror name is the nearest name from our name. The history of this name is very interesting. There are two explanations about the origin of this name.
One says that the name might come from the north of Africa. The other finds its origin in the hebrew history.
- the arabic explanation
-
There are variations of the name all over the north of Africa. Those
variations are in some way historicaly conected to each other. In Algeria,
Morocco and Tunisia you find the name "Serror ". More precisely,
the "Serors", "Serour", "Soror" and company
are founded in Algeria and Tunisia. The "Abisrors", "Bisror"
or "Abiserors" would always find their origins in Algeria
but also in Morocco. Finaly, imposible to be mistaken the "Bicherours"
come from the Sahara. The place of origin of the Abisrors is the Syrian
city of Bousra.
- hebrew explanation #1
-
The Abisror name, acording to one Hebrew explanation, might find
its origins in the word "Tseror" that means «bundle». "Abisror"
would mean then «My father is a bundle» This word appears
already in a verse of Samuel's book: «There was a man of Benjamin's
tribe, named Kich, son of Aviel, son of Tseror...» that happen to be no
other than the father of the futere king of Israel Saul.
- hebrew explanation #2
-
Others provide a different explanation. "Sror" would be a distortion of
"Srara" that means «authority». In that version, forebears of
the Abisrors, or «fahter of the authority», would have occupied high
places in the community: rabbis or ritual sacrificers.
- historical facts
-
The first known AbeÇeror is mentioned in a notarial act established
in Tudela (Spain) in 1190. As celebrities, it is necessary to signal two big rabbies
of Algiers, Chlomo Seror (XVII century) and his grandson Rafael Yedidiah Chlomo (1681-1737),
author of Péné Tsadik, published by his pupil Yehouda Ayashi, in Livorno, in 1748.
Finaly, most adventurous Abisrors are, without dispute, the rabbi Moroccan Mordekhaï
Abisror, that passionate geographer, crossed in 1857 the Sahara before joining Tombouctou.
The same Mordekhaï Abisror is the one who helped Charles of Foucault to explore Morocco
secretly after having advised him to disguise as rabbie to pass unobserved.
